Ghost Sea

Kali nie ak nk kongsi 3 pengalaman pelik ak tiap kali kapal ak on the way balik Singapore from Shanghai..benda2 nie berlaku tiap kali departure dari Shanghai utk ke Singapore~


1st, mase tu duty aku, after departure from Shanghai, kapal ak pon meneruskan perjalanan seperti biase..dan seperti biase jgk lah, selepas full away, chief engineer pon naik laa kebilik..yg tinggal hanya ak sorang2, standby, sbb ak kn on duty..so, tepat jam 9mlm, ak pon decide laa utk round check..1st thing ak akan check, main engine, sbb kapal baru full away, so condition engine haruslah dipastikan..dari satu unit ke satu unit ak check..bile sampai kt unit paling last, unit no 6, ak observe satu keadaan abnormal..starting air line ke starting air valve bertukar warna kehitaman, catnya pula menggelupas..ak sentuh permukaan line tu, agak panas..so, cepat2 ak inform 2nd engineer..2nd engineer tanya macam2 pasal line tu, then die ckp, juz observe dulu line tu..lau makin panas, inform die skali lagi..so, tiap2 sejam aku perhatikan line tu..ak tembak line tu dgn infrared thermometer utk dapatkan bacaan tepat suhu line tersebut..tepat jam 12 mlm, ak mintak bridge utk reduce rpm, from 95 ke 90..so, suhu line tu maintain sampai pagi esok..pas aku off duty, pas handing over kt 4th engineer, dlm kol 10 pg, starting air line tu bertukar ke warna merah membara..kalaulah mase tu ad angin yg leaking dr air bottle, alamatnye jadi jagung bakar laa kitorang sume mase tu..so, kitorang pon stop kapal, then rectify masalah tu smpai settle~

2nd, mase tu pon duty ak jugak, after departure from Shanghai, kapal ak pon meneruskan perjalanan seperti biase..semasa maneuvering, ak perasan yg brigde order too fast..dari satu speed ke satu speed, mmg laju..kitorang yg dalam engine room nie pon kalut duk shuffle, berjoget sane sini nak maintain main engine condition cam jacket water temperature, boiler steam pressure, and else..kejam betol encik pilot Shanghai mase tu..dan lepas full away, cam biase, chief engineer naik ke bilik..tinggal laa ak sorang2 kt engine room nie..so, ak terus decide utk round check..yela, badan da penat, 8 jam maneuvering, shufle sane sini, mase tu lak da pukul 1 pagi..ak ingat nk round check2, then tido laa..baru ak capai torchlight, alarm berbunyi, upenye jacket water pressure drop..bile benda nie drop, main engine akan slow down, then bersepah2 laa alarm datang..kalut dibuatnye sorang2 mase tu, nk jawab alarm, pastu nk rectify..then naik lagi alarm yg buat ak pasti ap masalahnye, Expansion Tank Level Low..ak tau, main engine leaking kt mane2..ak terus kuar control room, ak tengok, kt unit no 6 main engine, air kuar terpancut2..banjir engine room mase..kelam kabut ak dibuatnye..xtau nk lari kemana, nk buat ape dulu yg patut..ak pon lari ke expansion tank..pas ak kip open valve topup expansion tank, ak terus call chief ngan 2nd engineer..dorang pon terus call sume engine crew..ape lagi, keje paras laa pepagi buta..dgn bridge duk call tiap setengah jam sekali, duk tny bile nk siap, bile nk siap..nk cepat, korang datang repair sendiri !! hahaha..

3rd, kali nie bukan duty ak..tapi duty 4th engineer Aizzul, haha..yg nie paaaaaaling pelik..sehari lepas departure Shanghai (lau departure Shanghai je, mesti duty ak), mase tu malam..ak ngan roomate ak tgh duk layan movie mase tu, One Piece..mase tu pukul 9 mlm laa lau xclap..tgh duk layan movie tu, tibe2 kapal kitorang blackout..ape lagi, berlari2 laa engine crew sume, pakat turun engine room, nk tgk ape masalah tibe2 blackout nie..bile smpai control room, kitorang pon check laa kt monitor, nk tau ap alarm yg buat generator tibe2 blackout..pelik !! satu alarm pon xde..mksud ak, xde satu pon alarm yg bley buat blackout td..chief engineer da mula rase pelik..die suruh kitorang round check satu engine room..kitorang pon round check laa satu engine room, mane tau kot2 ad something ke yg kitorang xnampak kt monitor, monitor xleh nk detect..pon xde pape jgk..chief pon ckp laa, die pon rse pelik jgk..xpenah lagi bnda2 cani berlaku sbelum nie..lau blackout, mesti ad sebabnye, xkan blackout tibe2 camtu je, tanpa sebab..so, kitorang pon naik laa ke bilik masing2..dlm pukul 11, 3rd mate Farid dtg bilik ak, tny nape blackout..ak pon xtau nk jwb cane, juz ckp xtau, tibe2 je blackout..pastu Farid pon citer laa, mase die kt bridge td, kt depan kapal ak nie ad sebuah kapal yg Not In Command, meaning, kapal tu stop or drifting..kelajuan kapal tu juz 1- 2 knot je..lau pk balik, buat ap kapal tu nk stop kt tengah2 laut..lain laa kalau dekat2 ngn darat or port..nie tengah2 laut kot, mlm buta lak tu..upenye kapal dorang pon blackout..3rd mate yg on duty mase tu, Yusri, try contact kapal tu, tp xde jawapan..beberapa kali die try contact by VHF, tp still xde jawapan..dorang pon juz ignore je laa..maybe crew kapal tu busy, kalut duk rectify kapal dorang yg blackout..then, juz after kapal ak passing depan kapal tu, kapal ak pon terus blackout..dorang pon xreceive pape alarm..so dorang pk, maybe engine side tau nape kapal tibe2 blackout mase tu..itulah ap yg Farid ngn duty 3rd mate, Yusri perasan mase tu..ape sebabnye? Wallahu'alam~ kitorang sendiri pon xtau...

Kalau diikotkan, mmg banyak sangat kejadian2 pelik yg berlaku kt lautan nie..ap kite perlu buat, byk2 berdoa, hindari perbuatan mungkar, dan tawakkal kpd Allah..moga selamat perjalanan kami hendaknye~ Aminnn =)
